This fund was set up by the late Alan
Crothall in recognition of his Canterbury association and years of
active involvement with NZIM. The fund creates the Alan
Crothall Scholarship and the Alan Crothall
Award.
The Alan Crothall Scholarship
The scholarships may be awarded annually to one or more
beneficiaries to meet the expenses of tertiary management education. Scholarship
applicants should be or have been employed in Canterbury or Westland
and are usually between 23 to 35 years of age. Beneficiaries
would usually be undertaking a course of study on a full time basis
unless the trustees consider that part time study is appropriate.
The Alan Crothall Award
This award may be made annually to one or more beneficiaries
to meet expenses of a short course or part time study in New Zealand
or Australia. The award applicants must be course leaders
or activity designers of NZIM Southern Inc.
