Four Quadrant Leadership Development Trust
THE TWO-DAY TRUST SEMINAR

The trust was set up in 2004 by NZIM Southern and Wilfred Jarvis & Associates to bring Four Quadrant Leadership programmes to not-for-profit organisations for minimal fees.  The Trust is supported by a number of organisations and people offering resources and free time to ensure minimal cost to organisations utilising this opportunity.

Each year approximately six 2-day courses are staged and already 500 people have participated on these programmes.  Some of the topics studied include:  understanding human energies and applying that knowledge, defining and using empathic relationships, using Four Quadrant Leadership techniques in making decisions and taking actions, determining the successful applications of the information back at work and in personal development, studying facts and fallacies about stress.

Alan Crothall Fund
SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARD INFORMATION

This fund was set up by the late Alan Crothall in recognition of his Canterbury association and years of active involvement with NZIM.  The fund creates the Alan Crothall Scholarship and the Alan Crothall Award.

The Alan Crothall Scholarship
The scholarships may be awarded annually to one or more beneficiaries to meet the expenses of tertiary management education.  Scholarship applicants should be or have been employed in Canterbury or Westland and are usually between 23 to 35 years of age.   Beneficiaries would usually be undertaking a course of study on a full time basis unless the trustees consider that part time study is appropriate.

The Alan Crothall Award
This award may be made annually to one or more beneficiaries to meet expenses of a short course or part time study in New Zealand or Australia.  The award applicants must be course leaders or activity designers of NZIM Southern Inc.

"The great thing about the many courses I have participated on at NZIM is that they are not full of theoretical waffle. They are designed by practising managers and often led by them."
